Henkel UK and Ireland Hosts First Forscherwelt Family Day: Inspiring Curiosity Across Generations
Henkel UK and Ireland welcomed employees and their families to its Hemel Hempstead site for its first Forscherwelt Family Day — a special event designed to bring the excitement of scientific discovery to life for the next generation of curious minds.
The event formed part of Forscherwelt (German for “Researchers’ World”), Henkel’s global education initiative aimed at sparking interest in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) among young learners. Since launching in the UK earlier this year, Forscherwelt has already reached more than 750 children. This latest workshop was the first time the programme was opened up to the families of Henkel employees, offering a unique opportunity for children and parents to learn side by side.
The workshop was a brilliant experience for my son. It brought science to life in such an exciting and interactive way. It’s fantastic that Henkel is investing in this kind of hands-on education through Forscherwelt.
