Learn more about our application process

The five-stage process shows us your skillset and brings you closer to your next career step. Start with our online application, get invited to first a phone and than a personal interview, you may participate on an online test, and receive a job offer. We can’t wait to meet you.

Step 1: Online Application

To start, you can send us your comprehensive online application through the Henkel job portal. You will need your CV – preferably as a PDF file. Please make use of the option to upload any other relevant documents ‏(e.g., certificates, an overview of your grades). This way we’ll have all necessary documents in one place, to help us make our decision. In case you have a LinkedIn profile, you can comfortably import your data with just one click. A letter of motivation can also be attached optionally.

Step 2: Phone / Video Interview

After a first screening, we would like to get to know you during a telephone interview or a video interview. We will talk about your career history and your goals. You will also get more information about Henkel and the position that has to be filled.

The video interview will not be live, and you may choose the right timing, set up and atmosphere. We kindly ask you to perform the video interview within the next five working days. Please note that your participation is voluntary.

Step 3: Interview

During the interview with your future managers, we’ll discuss some more in-depth topics, like your professional experience and your goals. You can ask more questions you may have about the position, your future team and career opportunities. Depending on the position, there might be a second interview.

Step 4: Optional Online Test

Depending on the position you apply for, we might also ask you to complete a structured online test after the first interview round. This test provides us with even more insights about your personality, your preferences as well as your cognitive abilities.

Step 5: Job Offer

If you impress us and we think you are a match for one of our open positions, you will receive a job offer. In turn, if you agree with our values and are looking for a great career opportunity, we hope you’ll accept the offer.
