Henkel is only German company in Top 50
This year again, Henkel is the only German company in the Top 50 of the world’s biggest consumer-goods manufacturers. Henkel came 41st in a ranking of the the largest companies by sales in the fast-moving-consumer-goods market in the “Trends and strategies on the consumer-goods market” study by OC&C consulting firm. Henkel improved its ranking by one position compared to the year before.
Henkel strengthened its consumer-goods portfolio last year with the acquisition of The Spotless Group, operating in the area of laundry aids, insect control and household care in Western Europe, for 940 million euros and of three U.S. hair professional companies – Sexy Hair, Alterna and Kenra – for 274 million euros.
