Henkel employees in action with MIT

The tenth MIT photo competition showcases the best photos from the volunteering employees of Henkel employees and retirees through the ‘Make an Impact on Tomorrow’ (MIT) initiative. In the competition, Henkel employees voted for their favorite employee-submitted photos. Each one of the winning projects will be supported with 500 euros by the “Fritz Henkel Stiftung” foundation.

This week’s winner photos from the category,“You in action during your MIT project”, show Henkel employees and retirees actively volunteering on their project sites. The photos capture their engagement in projects in seven countries on four continents, from Argentina, to the Philippines, China, India, Uganda, Serbia, and Germany.

Henkel supports the volunteer projects of its employees and retirees through the ‘Make an Impact on Tomorrow’ (MIT) initiative. MIT projects related to education and science, health and fitness, art and culture, and social issues and the environment are especially encouraged. Employees and retirees can apply for donations in kind or product donations for their specific project, or for special paid leave for time-consuming voluntary engagements.
