Henkel’s Go Green & Save giveaway asked Hotel Management magazine readers to vote for their favorite sustainable property across the United States, giving them the chance to win the grand prize of $30,000 worth of Henkel products that includes liquid hand soaps, body washes, shampoos, conditioners, lotions and dispensers. Readers selected the Nonantum Resort as the winner out of 88 resorts. The Nonantum Resort is certified by the Maine Department of Environmental Protection Agency and is firmly committed to sustainability.

The Nonantum Resort’s commitment to sustainability includes a 100% organic flower and herb garden onsite, over 1,000 recycled soap and shampoo bottles donated to Clean the World in 2013 and over eight tons of kitchen waste sent to local composting facilities. Nonantum Resort’s commitment to sustainability aligns with Henkel’s sustainability strategy: achieving more with less.
