Henkel wins 2014 Best Campus Employer Branding Award

In the ranking of the Best Human Resource Management Companies in 2014, Henkel China scooped up the 2014 Best Campus Employer Branding Award from 51job.com, the largest HR service supplier in China.

Henkel received this recognition for its on-campus promotion strategy at universities in China. Yvonne Qian, Employer Branding Manager for Greater China and Asia Pacific at Henkel, said: “We tailored a series of programs on different platforms to get in touch with young talents. These programs opened Henkel’s doors and gave the students a chance to directly approach the company.”

Campus talks are a key part of Henkel’s annual campus promotion program. In 2014, Henkel presented these informative talks in major cities in the region, including Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Chengdu. In inspiring presentations, Senior Managers from Henkel demonstrated the company’s culture and image to the students.

Besides campus talks, Henkel also held its Campus Ambassador Program, the international student competition Henkel Innovation Challenge and other initiatives to attract a new generation of university students this year. In the Campus Ambassador Program, Henkel offered the students marketing skill trainings, helped with structuring their CV and prepared them for interviews.

“We have built a solid talent pipeline program in our organization. This campus recruitment season, we are hiring the sixth batch of Management Trainees, and second batch of Sales Management Trainees,” said Joyce Guo, Human Resources Director Greater China at Henkel. “Over the past five years, we have enhanced Management Trainee programs with rotations, management coachings, assessments and feedback sessions.”
