Henkel continues to build its diverse workforce
As part of the ongoing commitment to diversity, Henkel will attend upcoming recruiting conferences to further strengthen its diverse talent pool. These conferences include the National Black MBA Annual Conference & Expo in Atlanta, Sept. 18-19; National Society of Hispanic MBAs Annual Conference in Philadelphia, Sept. 26-27; the Society of Women Engineers Conference in Los Angeles, Oct. 23-24 and the Society of Professional Hispanic Engineers in Detroit, Nov. 7-8. With well-known brands such as Dial® soaps, Purex® laundry detergents and Loctite® adhesives, Henkel recognizes diversity as a key piece of its business strategy.
These conferences provide opportunities to meet diverse, qualified candidates,” said Angela Curley, Head of Diversity & Inclusion at Henkel. “As we continue to build our workforce, we recognize that various cultures and abilities help us to learn more about the markets and customers we serve, which in turn makes us more successful.”
Henkel realizes that its workforce should reflect the communities where the company conducts business. Since this is critical to the company’s success, Henkel attends these conferences to educate attendees on the company’s strategy, provide information on diversity and inclusion efforts and to find prospective candidates to strengthen its workforce. Henkel also conducts interviews onsite for available positions.
In addition to the conferences, Henkel holds Diversity Awareness Days at its North American facilities, supports 13 very active employee resource groups and maintains a supplier diversity program. For more information on career opportunities at Henkel, visit www.henkelna.com/careers.
