This year’s edition of the competition saw Henkel’s three business units all win “Product of the Year” honors. Henkel’s five awards spread across the segments were as follows:
“Product of the Year 2014” awards
The "Product of the Year” awards recognize the best retail products in different categories in France. Each year more than 10,000 consumers vote for the products they would like to see receive recognition, applying the three key criteria: Innovation, Attractiveness & Satisfaction.*
Within Beauty Care: Diadermine Jeunesse infusée crème Jour was recognized for its innovative formula with micro-infused hyaluronic acid. The results: youthful looking skin without injections.
Laundry & Home Care: Mir Couleurs Fini le Tri was selected for its new technology, a unique system designed to prevent dye transfer within the washing machine. Also Laundry & Home Care: The Mir Vaisselle “Secrets de cuisiniers” hand-dishwashing product garnered its award thanks to the combination of Mir’s degreasing power with baking soda and natural ingredients well-known for their degreasing and pleasant fresh fragrances.
Within Adhesive Technologies: Loctite Super Glue-3 Power Flex with its extra-strong rubber-infused formula was also a consumers’ choice. Non-drip and weather- and shock-resistant, it is ideal for flexible bonds, vertical applications and porous surfaces. The Rubson range of trendy color sealants was likewise awarded in recognition of its combination of sealing benefits and a modern color range.
* This online study was aligned to pre-selected products already being sold in stores in France. Carried out in October 2013, the survey by Nielsen targeted 10 000 respondents as a representative sample of France’s population of 15 years of age or over.
