The Account Manager is a National Sales position that is responsible for profitable business growth and major development program efforts for Regional and Strategic accounts, in the UK & Ireland. You will be supporting our key accounts & specific distribution partners from within the strategic market segments focussing primarily on Power & Industrial Automation, Telecom, and Solar.

  • Successfully lead cross functional Henkel AE project teams for Strategic and Regional accounts in the UK & Ireland as well as for distribution partners in this area, maximizing year-on-year growth in sales and profitability. Support activities and major projects at key accounts from strategic market segments in the region.

  • Proactively lead and develop joint partner plans, that develop mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.

  • Responsibility for revenue targets – top line sales & bottom-line profitability, as well as overall customer satisfaction.

  • Effectively develop & manage both existing and target accounts within the strategic market segments (considering SU strategy) with focus on key relationship development to drive growth.

  • Providing technical sales leading to unique customer value and maximizing business potential within the key markets and key countries.

  • Formulating and execution of regularly updated account, market, regional strategic plans, long term business plan and annual KP forecasts.

  • Providing clear direction to cross functional Henkel AE project team regarding strategy execution, responsibilities and expectations.

  • Providing strategic account plan presentations to AE EIMEA management regularly.


  • Proven success in a sales role with a strong emphasis on new business development

  • Technical competency in order to facilitate commercial success

·Business Development approach with key target customers;

    • Ideally within a design / production environment or similar industry (Adhesives / Electronics / Engineering)

·Well-developed business negotiation and presentation skills

  • Degree educated, or equivalent, within a Business, Technical or Scientific subject

·A valid driving licence
