The Market Leader in Pretreatments
Henkel’s Alodine® brand pretreatments and Parco cleaning products are used in conjunction to prepare truck parts for painting. Since many trucks are manufactured with aluminum, the company supplies pretreatment chemistries specifically designed to improve the corrosion resistance of painted aluminum parts. Bonderite® products for galvanized and cold rolled steel are available as well. Terotex® underbody coatings provide corrosion protection and chip resistance, while providing NVH (noise, vibration and harshness) improvements.

Henkel: Finding a Better Way
Henkel supplies adhesives for rigid and elastic bonding to replace rivets, welds, and fasteners. The benefits of bonding versus the alternative methods include increased production, decreased labor rates, more uniform stress distribution throughout a part, and the elimination of seam sealers.

Since some manufacturers do not have a full washing system for pretreating their parts prior to paint, Henkel supplies many of its products in pre-packaged wipes. In addition to hand-wiping capabilities, these products can also be used for touch-up.
