Henkel’s Laundry & Home Care business sector has been recognized with the European Supply Chain Excellence Award 2009, presented by the European business magazine Supply Chain Standard and PRTM, a leading global management consultants firm. An extensive analysis of value chains was the basis of this competition, in which more than 60 different, mostly globally operating companies from all over Europe were shortlisted for the final round.

Carsten Tilger appointed Henkel’s new Chief Communications Officer

Düsseldorf – Carsten Tilger, 42, will assume the position of Head of Corporate Communications at Henkel effective March 1, 2010. As Corporate Senior Vice President he will report directly to Kasper Rorsted, Chairman of the Henkel Management Board. Carsten Tilger will succeed Dr. Marcus Kuhnert, who is currently heading Corporate Communications on an interim basis in addition to his function as Chief Strategy Officer.

Albrecht Woeste to hand over to Simone Bagel-Trah
