What we offer

  • Develop new products under guidance of Development Scientist by contributing ideas as experience grows, enabling the General Industry (AG) Business to exploit its technological capability
  • Take independent ownership of multiple projects or parts of projects e.g. synthesis and characterisation of materials together with reporting of results
  • Demonstrate competence in formulating, validation and understanding of raw materials
  • Take ownership of several pieces of lab equipment, systems and processes in addition to an example setting approach to safety and standards in the laboratory
  • Provide a technical lead at customer trials, ensuring that they are run safely, competently and that customers see the value added in our products / services 
     

Who we are looking for

  • University degree BSc (or equivalent ) or higher in Chemistry or Polymer, Science
  • 1-2 years’ experience in related field
  • Knowledge of Polyurethane, acrylic or hot melt technology would be advantageous
  • Ability to take ownership, working independently but also as a part of the team
  • Analytical thinking desirable
